We will be hiring an extra 74 full-time equivalent ambulance officers as soon as possible, following today's overwhelming vote of support from members of the Ambulance Employees Union for our deal.
The recruitment process will begin immediately and is in addition to the extra 187 full-time equivalent staff employed since 2018.
