On Tuesday the 9th of October 2018 I hosted the Hartley Soup Night, a Domestic Violence awareness event, held at the Hectorville Sports and Community Club in Magill.
On Tuesday the 9th of October 2018 I hosted the Hartley Soup Night, a Domestic Violence awareness event, held at the Hectorville Sports and Community Club in Magill.
The night was a great success, with the event raising $1,237 for Women’s Safety Services SA. Women’s Safety Services SA provides all women and children in the community experiencing or escaping domestic or family violence various services ranging from counselling and support with crisis accommodation.
Guest Speaker Kathy Lilas, Manager of Women’s Safety Services SA spoke to guests about the outstanding services which the center provides to victims and also shared some of the amazing survival stories.
An enjoyable and informative night was had by all and I look forward to continuing to support the work of Women’s Safety Services SA moving forward.
