Six months in and our nation-leading ban on single use plastics - including straws, stirrers and cutlery - is having a positive impact on our environment.
Amazingly, if you were to take all the estimated straws we’ve saved and line them up end-to-end, they’d comfortably cover the distance from Adelaide to London!
But we’re not stopping there because in another six months time we will ban polystyrene cups, bowls, plates, clamshell containers and all products with oxo-degradable plastic.
