The Festa della Liberazione is a commemoration of the liberation of Italy from Nazi rule in 1945.
Coinciding with Anzac Day, it’s an opportunity for us to honour those who sacrificed so much for the freedoms that both Australia and Italy share today.
I was proud to represent Premier Steven Marshall at the Com.It.Es South Australia prayer service, which was a touching tribute for Festa della Liberazione and a celebration of the strong bond our two nations share.
